Extreme Skillz - (Ages 11-17)

13-17 years old

Empower your Teen

As your child enters their teenage years, you may start to notice them becoming fatigued more easily. Things that used to be easy, like taking out the trash, now seem like monumental tasks. This is because their bodies and minds are developing at a rapid pace, which can be truly exhausting. At our facility, we use forms of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to keep your pre-teen or teen engaged and excited about health and fitness.

Self-discipline & character development

Your child is like a sponge at this age, absorbing an immense amount of information every day. They take in algebra, social media, social cues, and environmental cues, among other things. So far, they have been excellent at recalling this information. However, it is now time to help them develop their critical thinking skills. In class each day, we work with your child on goal-setting and decision-making skills.

Self-esteem, confidence & focus

Around this stage in life, you might see your child become afraid of things as they start to crave social acceptance more. This can manifest itself in fears about things like what to wear or how to walk and talk. We focus on encouraging your child to try new things, perform, and compete in front of others to develop their confidence & self-esteem.

Learn effective communication

Parents may notice their child seems to have trouble communicating with people they don't know well or are too shy to speak in front of groups.

That's why we encourage our students to get involved in things like leading small groups, giving demonstrations, and volunteering for performances. There are lots of opportunities for our students to practice speaking every day.
